On July 3rd, the best designers and manufacturers of 2017 were given their awards at the Red Dot Gala, in Essen’s Aalto-Theater. After receiving a record number of entries to the competition, comprising more than 5500 products from participants from 54 countries, the international jury conferred one of the most highly respected awards in the design industry to the 3B project RESPET®, in the category Honourable Mention.

The Honourable Mention is provided by the Red Dot jurors for a particularly well-executed aspect of design work. RESPET® is the first panel obtained by using a 100% RECYCLED PET resin to create laminates that can be reused to manufacture doors and furniture components.
